Milestone(s)

I have been Tobacco free for 4.5 days as of today and I anticipated a hellish journey filled with Heroin withdrawal like cravings, on a pseudo murderous rampage against those near and around me...But to my shock and relief...this was not so, mind you it hasnt been 'a piece of cake' But I honestly feel that Im ready to quit these f*cking cigarettes for good...I seem to have a sturdy network of people in my corner rooting for me, and let me tell you that helps significantly..Hell, even Jerry is beginning to kiss me again...passionately, without me tasting like an ashtray, now I know what hes been referring to, It IS like kissing an ashtray...and its jsut plain nasty! Im also finding that I get these bursts of energy....literally out of nowhere Ill be going a million miles an hour and I guess its a blessing as well as a curse heehee

The Pleasures Of Distraction

Its been a great day in this household considering hubby received his Ipad today, and he seems to be as happy as a pig in excrement.....Thats not a BAD thing either, Im just ready to accept the fact that I KNOW he will be distracted by his new toy for quite sometime..I jst hope that I wont have to pull an intervention on him in the near future..

Needless to say I think we are embarking into a triad ie: Me Hubby and Ipad XOXOX

Back Fr. Italy

It was nice welcoming Duane back fr. Italy... I had organized some friends to meet him at the house when his plane landed, we had cocktails and finger foods....a nice night was had by all as you can see

I had figured since he and Mauro's breakup I thought we would lift his spirits by having his closest friends nearby......
